Tales of a Vagabond...

By Pathum Punchihewa

“However, when we shift our awareness or "frequency" from
self-consciousness -where fear, impossibility or feelings of separation
reside -- to cosmic consciousness, which is in total harmony with the
universe and where none of those feelings exist, then anything is

~ Rhonda Byrne

“Many people will walk in and out of your life; but only true friends
will leave footprints in your heart." I’ve heard this quote many times.
I’ve received it via emails and text messages more than once, though I
never felt the gravity of that quote until I met ‘that friend’. Today I
want to write something about that friend and the moral of the story is
the beauty of a boundless, absolute friendship.

This story also starts as almost every story begins. Once upon a time,
from nowhere, I found my friend. Suddenly we felt that we here two atoms
of the endless universe which sharing the same decent. We both had the
same passions, and similar tastes. And yet we both had differences,
along with what we had in common. That made both of us respect and
admire each other.

After my friend became a part of my life, I started to think about the
value of a true friend. And yes, I could come up with some lines that no
one can understand but a philosopher or a poet.

    * Friends are always there for us, to laugh with us in the happy
times and to provide us with a shoulder, when we feel like crying. They
serve as one of the biggest supports in our life.

    * Friends are amongst those few people who accept us, rather like
us, as we are. They never come into our life, expecting us to change for
them. However, they do correct us when we are at fault.

    * It is said that when you need to hear the bitter truth about
yourself, go to your best friend. He/she will never lie to you, just to
please you and win your favors. What he/she says is the truth about you.

    * You can always count on your friends, whether you need any advice
or help. They will shy away from none. The best part is that a friend’s
advice will always be for your betterment, whether it hurts you or
pleases you.

    * After family, friends are the ones who care for you. They bring a
smile on your face when you are sad and they go out of the way to make
things alright for you.

    * Friends are the ones with whom we can share our darkest secrets,
without being worried of them being leaked. They acknowledge our worst
ideas and try to fulfill our silliest of wishes.

    * Friends feel happy at your success and sad at your failure. They
share all your feelings and make you feel that there is somebody who
still cares for you. When you have friends, you never ever feel lonely.

    * Friends love you and care for you. They always make you feel
special and never expect anything in return, other than your love and
friendship. They stay true to you throughout their lives.

And what should I say at the end this article? Like armor, good friends
make us almost invincible. You can find friends from anywhere, but a
true friendship… it is something rare…

The Power in Me said...

Rhonda Byrne -who you quoted above- has been writing a new book called The Power, a follow up of The Secret.

“The knowledge contained in The Power can and will change lives instantly. And the profound revelations are amplified by the book’s breathtaking illustrations – the book’s beauty is truly astounding.”

The Power is the book Rhonda Byrne was inspired to write after answering several thousands of letters from readers of The Secret.
I am reading it right now. It is good......

Love the pic in this post :)
